Power to continue. Time to shut down.

Prepare your infrastructure for power failures. We size UPS systems, redundant power and controlled shutdown for essential equipment.

Continuity starts with power.

Identify what must remain powered, for how long, and how operation should resume after an outage.

01

Sized runtime

Assess load and required runtime for priority equipment.

02

Controlled shutdown

Integrate shutdown of compatible systems before the battery runs out.

03

Monitoring

Monitor power status, alerts and events through UniFi.

04

Supply redundancy

USP-RPS supports compatible equipment when an internal power supply fails.

Runtime depends on load, battery health and operating conditions. USP-RPS is a redundant supply without a backup battery.

From planning to daily use.

01

Load inventory

Measure or estimate consumption and identify priority services.

02

Sizing

Select power capacity, runtime, outlets and growth margin.

03

Integration and testing

Configure alerts and shutdown and test power loss and restoration.

Maintenance

Monitor batteries, loads and events and plan replacements.

Before choosing your solution

How long will equipment stay powered?

It depends on actual load and battery health. We size runtime for the equipment set and verify it during testing.

Is USP-RPS a UPS?

No. It is a redundant supply for compatible equipment. It has no battery to maintain operation during a mains outage.

Are all outlets battery-backed?

Outlet functions vary by model. We identify battery-backed and surge-only outputs before connecting loads.

Can servers shut down automatically?

On models with NUT, we integrate compatible systems and test shutdown. Permissions, timing and behaviour after power restoration are configured for the project.

Can batteries be replaced?

We choose equipment according to maintenance needs. For replaceable-battery models, we follow the manufacturer’s procedures and part references.

Can PoE equipment be protected?

Yes, by sizing the UPS powering the switch or using Switch PoE UPS as appropriate. Runtime must include connected devices’ consumption.
